CCNA Certification

CCNA Certification
The CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification is Cisco’s entry-level certification for candidates who “can install, configure, and operate LAN, WAN, and dial access services for small networks (100 nodes or fewer), including but not limited to use of these protocols: IP, IGRP, Serial, Frame Relay, IP RIP, VLANs, RIP, Ethernet, Access Lists.” This exam is widely recognised in the IT industry and is often posted as a minimum requirement for jobs in network support.

The CCNA certification is a prerequisite for Cisco’s higher-level certifications, such as the CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) and CCDP (Cisco Certified Design Professional).

The CCNA certification is valid for three years, during which the candidate must re-certify by passing a current CCNA exam.
